About This Lesson

Activities to get students talking or writing about their opinions of people's style. I did this partly as a writing activity with mini whiteboards; giving points for use of connectives; opinions etc (it was incredible how much progress the students made just during this activity; when there were points to be awarded!); and then put students in small groups for some unscripted talk about their opinions; supported by the vocab on the slides. My students were particularly enthusiastic about being able to say things like "she's dressed like a granny"; they really went for this!
