About This Lesson
This resource provides opportunities for students to read a short text about the revolution and use reading skills to infer the meaning of unfamiliar vocabulary. They then re-order a longer cut-up text about the revolution. Using the structures they have seen in the first part of the lesson; they write a text for their French pen-friends explaining the Gunpowder plot with an extension task summarising the similarities and differences between the two events. Part 2 will look at how the Fete de la Bastille and Bonfire Night are celebrated. Some pictures were from a Rachel Hawkes resource.
Fantastique! J'adore!
