About This Lesson

http://www.freemathvideos.com In this video series I will show you how to factor polynomial expressions. We will build on the common factoring techniques with binomials and trinomials by factoring polynomials to higher degrees. The factoring steps are very similar to factoring quadratic polynomials. In this section we will also build on factoring binomials by learning how to factor the difference of two cubes. http://www.freemathvideos.com In this video series I show you how to find the zeros of a polynomial. We will explore using the Rational Zero and Descartes rule of signs to help us narrow down our zeros. We then use synthetic division, factoring, completing the square and the quadratic formula to find the exact zeros we are looking for. The zeros of a polynomial are very important in helping us find where the graph crosses the x-axis.
