Freedom to Teach is respecting and trusting educators as professionals.

Teachers are hired based on what skills they have and are able contribute to the team. When teachers are confined to rigid curricular boundaries, those skills and creativity that are the gifts/talents of the educator are snuffed out. The students suffer and the teacher withers.
