Biography
I’ve been an educator in North Carolina for over 24 years, currently teaching 8th-grade math for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. My career has been defined by working in Title I schools, where I’ve focused on supporting students with learning differences and those striving to be the first in their families to graduate.
My academic background includes a Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education from UNC Charlotte, and I hold certifications in AVID, Mathematics, Social Studies, Gifted Education, and Special Education. I am currently a member of AFPENC.
