Biography
Samantha Phelps is a veteran Social Studies educator, currently teaching U.S. and Virginia History and World Geography in Northern Virginia. A leader in instructional innovation, Sam serves as a Curriculum Team Lead, a member of her school’s Lighthouse Tech Innovation Team, and a division-level consultant on the Social Studies Design and Training Team. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction both from Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in K-12 Administration at the College of William and Mary.
