I am a dedicated educator and student government association, SGA, advisor who is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world connections inside and outside of the classroom. As a Science Teacher, I strive to design engaging lessons that challenge students to explore concepts through inquiry, collaboration, and hands-on problem solving.
My teaching approach incorporates design thinking and project-based learning to encourage students to research complex topics, think creatively, and present their ideas through multimedia presentations and visual displays. I believe students learn best when they are actively involved in the learning process and can see how academic concepts apply to the world around them.
I am committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every student feels valued, empowered, and capable of success. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy collaborating with colleagues and student officers of the SGA, highlighting effective teaching practices as well as empowering student voice and choice by contributing to a positive school culture that supports both student growth and educator development.
At the core of my work is a deep belief that education has the power to transform lives, expand perspectives, and prepare students to become thoughtful and innovative problem solvers in their communities.
