About This Lesson
This is to compliment the PowerPoint that Geekie did about words we use in English that come from French. Students have a definition and have to find a word from the list.It can be done as one handout or just show the students the definitions and see how many they can work our.Or show the list for a minute; hide and then show the definitions. See if they can remember and match (this is like the Terry Wogan game on channel 4!!)
Makes students realize that other languages contribute to their own.
