About This Lesson
This is a interdisciplinary unit involving social studies and science. Student will explore hands on activities including measuring density of irregular objects and simulated gold mining. This would be an excellent unit for collaboration. It also can be easily expanded on to include soil erosion, music, and even making flapjacks.
