About This Lesson

http://www.freemathvideos.com In this video tutorial I show you how to determine the intervals where a graph is increasing, decreasing, or constant, and describe the intervals using interval notation. We look at the x values, and determine the direction of the graph or output as x approaches infinity (far right) and negative infinity (far left). We also look at the graph to determine the points where the graph is changing from an increasing to decreasing function, or decreasing to increasing function.
