About This Lesson

I've written the story, Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak, in play format so first graders (or older students) can perform a reader's theater play. I did this with first graders and it's delightful! Aligns with Common Core State Standards, RF.4.a and SL. 1.b
