About This Lesson

Go through the paragraph first with class to ensure they know what it means. Without telling; choose 1 of each of the options in the yellow boxes. Get volunteers to read out paragraph guessing which option you have chosen. As soon as they get one wrong; they fall through the “trapdoor” & next student has to start at the very beginning of the paragraph. Prizes for participants or the eventual winner who reads the whole paragraph. Use for pairwork where one student choses the optional phrases and the other has to guess them - every time they get it wrong; they go back to the beginning!
