About This Lesson

Teach your students a kinesthetic approach to writing an essay conclusion. It's easy to remember and can engage the whole class with "Touch back" - "So what?" - "Make a connection" and "Ask a reflective question." After reading this hand-out together, invite students to rehearse the conclusion gestures, and maybe, for a laugh, see who can run through the repertoire with the greatest poise.

This is a handout for teachers, not students. It does use the kinesthetic approach.
