The first face some kids see in the morning isn't always a teacher. It's the paraprofessional who notices when a student is having a good day or a tough one before anyone else does. The aide who translates, de-escalates, comforts and adapts, then does it all again next period.

Paraprofessionals and school-related personnel (PSRPs, ESPs, paraeducators) are the connective tissue of a functioning school. And yet, finding professional development that feels relevant and meaningful to their work can be hard to come by.

That's exactly why the AFT Share My Lesson Virtual Conference (March 23-26) is here to assist.

What Is the Share My Lesson Virtual Conference—and How Can It Help PSRPs?

The Share My Lesson Virtual Conference is a free, four-day online event offering 30+ one-hour professional development webinars for preK-12 educators across the country.

Several sessions this year were curated with PSRPs and education support professionals in mind, covering the work they actually do: supporting grieving students, navigating difficult conversations, using artificial intelligence tools in everyday practice, advocating for immigrant students, and building resilience when the job gets heavy.

All sessions are free. All sessions offer PD credit. And if you can't make the live event, register anyway; You'll receive an on-demand link to watch later—on your own schedule.
